Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data is processed through www.societejuridique.com, for what purpose and on what legal basis, and how you may exercise your rights. It is provided under articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the General Data Protection Regulation, and Spanish Organic Act 3/2018 of 5 December on personal data protection and the guarantee of digital rights.

Only the data you voluntarily provide through the contact form, by email or by telephone is processed, together with such data as is necessary to deliver the professional service engaged: name, contact details and the information you choose to include in your enquiry.

An enquiry may involve communicating special category data or data relating to criminal offences and convictions. We recommend that you do not include in your first contact more information than is strictly necessary to assess your matter.

Data is not disclosed to third parties save where required by law or necessary to deliver the service, in particular to courts, public authorities, court agents, experts and other professionals involved in the matter, and to the entity issuing the invoice. Hosting, email, document management and analytics providers act as processors under the contracts required by article 28 of the Regulation.

5. International transfers

Some of the services used on the site, identified in the cookie policy, are provided by entities established outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers rely, as applicable, on adequacy decisions of the European Commission or on standard contractual clauses, under Chapter V of the Regulation.

6. Your rights

You may exercise the rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability, and withdraw any consent given, by writing to info@societejuridique.com or to either of the addresses indicated, enclosing a copy of a document evidencing your identity.

You are also entitled to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency, Calle Jorge Juan 6, 28001 Madrid, www.aepd.es, if you consider that the processing does not comply with the applicable rules.

7. Security measures

Technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk are applied, having regard to the particular sensitivity of information arising from criminal defence work, including encryption in transit, profile-based access control and traceability of actions on the file.

8. Obligation to provide data

The data requested in the contact form is the minimum necessary to deal with the enquiry. Failure to provide it prevents a reply. Providing inaccurate data, or third-party data without authority, is the responsibility of the person communicating it.
